Within a few short decades, Doranwil was known throughout the land and welcomed with open arms everywhere. Though there was some muttering about his magical research, noone could deny that he brought great relief to the troubles of the poor farmers and peasants. He was the best known and best-loved of all the great mages of his day, the only one to walk among the ordinary people and seek to help with real problems.
