What is a multi?
A "multi" is a multiple account. It is used to play the game as another character.

Can I have a multi?
Yes. You are free to have as many multis as you please.

What can I do with a multi?
You are allowed to play the game as you see fit with your multi, so long as you follow these rules.

What can I not do with a multi?
Your multi may not interact in any way with any other account you control. To clarify, you may not interact in any way with any other account you control.

Can I send items or money from one account to another?
No.

Can I sell items from one account to another?
No. Not even at "fair market value."

To sum it up,
...multis are allowed on the grounds that they are played as if other accounts you control don't exist. Interaction is not allowed under any circumstance, and is considered multi abuse.
